You may have heard about those "Everesting™" events, where you climb to the top of the mountain, then take a ski-lift ride back down to the bottom... repeat.

This is the same type of event, except there are no shortcuts at HPRS events. There is no ski-lift ride down to the bottom, only your own two feet.

You'll have 32 hours to complete as many loops as you can or want on the East Peak of Granby Ranch Resort. You'll climb the mountain via the service road under the lift, then take one of their closed mountain bike runs (Stranger) down to the bottom. There is an aid station at the top and another at the bottom. You'll check into both stations at each trip's beginning, middle, and end.

Your final result is not mileage-based; it is the total elevation climbed over 32 hours. Only complete loops will count towards your mileage total. Each loop is 1.92 miles long with 832' of elevation climb and 832' of elevation loss (1,664' of elevation change).

Event check-in will take place from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on the Friday night prior to the event at The Bluebird Bistro at Granby Ranch Resort. Friday Night check-in is not required, it is an option.

We will also host check-in on event morning at the Start/Finish area, from 5:00am - 9:00am.

Granby Ranch Resort is located at 1000 Village Rd Granby, CO 80446

Held virtually during the week leading up to the event.

Spectators are only permitted at the start/finish line of the event.

Due to limitations outlined in our permits, crews and/or pacers are only allowed in the Elevation Challenge event and no other distance. Runners in the Elevation Challenge may have a pacer from Saturday at 6:00pm until Sunday at 6:00am, then again from Sunday 12:00pm until the event's end at 2:00pm. Elevation Challenge participants may have a crew of no more than 3-people at any one time, for all 32-hours.

All participants in the Single, Double, Triple, and Quad events should plan to tackle the challenges of this event on their own accord.

Drop Bags are welcome for all participants. You may have them at the Start/Finish line aid station ONLY. Participants in the Double, Triple, and Quad events may also have a drop bag at Bootlegger Aid Station. See the aid station chart for more info.

Please leave nothing of value in your bag. Do not leave your drop bag behind. All abandoned drop bags are disposed of immediately at the conclusion of the event.

All participants and spectators must park at the designated parking locations ONLY. A map of these areas will be available closer to the race.

All participants who complete their challenge will receive a unique finisher's award. Those in the Elevation Challenge can earn different awards based on the elevation milestones they reach throughout their adventure. We'll also present our DFL Award for the Single, Double, Triple, and Quad events.

HPRS has no podium or age group awards; please see our Awards Page for more details.

NO AWARDS WILL BE MAILED
