Franklin Mountains Trail Runs

After the 2026 running of the Franklin Mountains Trail Runs, ownership of the event was transferred to Wanderlust Running.

The Franklin Mountains Trail Runs were started by Rob and Rachael Goyen, the original founders and owners of Trail Racing Over Texas (TROT), in 2015. The Human Potential Running Series (HPRS) acquired the event from them in December 2021, which we held for the first time in March of 2022. We held five editions of the event before deciding to turn it over to a local from El Paso/Las Cruces. Someone who would do the event and its community justice.
