The Human Potential Running Series is pleased to launch our revamped Brand Ambassador Program, The HPRS TRAIL CREW, in 2020. The goal of the Trail Crew is to help create positive and meaningful experiences for runners at HPRS races and to assist in grassroots marketing efforts for the series. The Trail Crew will work closely with us to help achieve our mission of helping people unlock human potential.
Traditionally, ambassador programs in our sport have been populated by runners with a massive social media following, or by runners who routinely perform at an elevated level. We are excited to be going against the traditional mold by offering a program that is instead populated by runners looking to give back and to promote positive social change through athletic endeavors. We’re also very excited about hosting a program that encourages its’ ambassadors to give back to others in the community around us, be that through trail work or by volunteering at an ultra not hosted by HPRS.
HPRS previously hosted a traditional ambassador program in 2015 and 2016. The program was terminated so that HPRS could take a step back and rethink what the ambassador program should look like, and fine tune the kind of runner we want to have be a part of that program. John Lacroix, owner and race director of HPRS, adds, “I can’t even begin to tell you how often I’m asked about HPRS having an ambassador program. I’m really excited that the interest is out there, and hope that having taken our time to re-craft the program will benefit everyone involved. I’ve worked closely with our PR firm to solidify what this program will look like and is about, and I’m excited to welcome our new ambassadors so that we can do the good work of providing runners a place to come and work on themselves.”
Applications for the program are now being accepted through the end of September, with HPRS naming the 2020 Trail Crew in early October. The details of the program are highlighted in the image provided above.
