The Human Potential Running Series (HPRS) is gearing up for it’s 6th Annual RegFest Event scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd 2022 from 6-10pm Mountain Time. This yearly event is the biggest night of the year for HPRS as we extend our biggest savings to runners looking to register for any of our calendar of events.
HPRS is committed to hosting a series that focuses on inclusion and accessibility. All of our races are priced at or below the industry average for similar distances. The RegFest event affords us an opportunity to offer race registrations at rates considerably lower than the industry average in our effort to make the sport accessible to runners regardless of their socio-economic status.
HPRS owner and race director John Lacroix will host a RegFest preview show on December 1, 2022 at 8pm Mountain Time on the HPRS Facebook Page. The show will discuss how RegFest works, the 2023 HPRS Calendar of events, as well as announcing our award nominees for 2022 HPRS Male and Female Ultrarunners of the year, and our 2022 Logan Polfuss Memorial Volunteer(s) of the year.

About Membership
Membership costs $50 annually with the membership year running from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023. Details about HPRS Memberships, and the opportunity to purchase a membership, can be found HERE. Membership is not required to participate in HPRS events or RegFest. We encourage everyone to purchase their membership prior to RegFest, or during RegFest. There is no discount on the membership fee during the RegFest event.
Early Bird Pricing for select HPRS events lasts just 3-days, with registration for currently unopened events opening on December 1st, and the first price increase occurring at midnight on December 4th. The above discounts are off of early bird pricing affording runner’s deep discounts on 2023 HPRS events.
LIVE SHOW
HPRS will also be hosting a 3-hour live show on the HPRS Facebook Page between 6 and 9pm on Saturday, December 3rd. The show is hosted by HPRS owner and race director John Lacroix, with special guest hosts Joe Von Bokern and Lauren Swigart, both seasoned HPRS community members. The show will feature a variety of segments designed to entertain and engage the HPRS community. We’ll also announce the winners of the 2022 HPRS Ultrarunners of the year, and Volunteer of the year awards.
We will host a live interactive trivia game at 7pm, the winner of which will be awarded with a free lifetime of race entries with HPRS. As runners register for events during the 3-hour window, they will automatically be entered to win any of over 50 prize giveaways courtesy of HPRS and our collection of 2022 partners.
Finally, HPRS will be hosting a 1-hour after show in our HPRS Facebook Group for our community to wrap up the final hour of the RegFest discount program.
UPDATED DEFERRAL AND CREDIT POLICIES
HPRS has updated some of our policies in order to give runners greater peace of mind with regard to their registration dollars. We recognize that it may be difficult for some to register for races so far in advance when much in our world remains uncertain. We have recently adjusted our refund, credit, deferral, and transfer policies to be more registrant friendly, allow you to adjust your schedule down the trail as needed, while also respecting our need to preserve the future of our business.
Here is a snapshot of those changes:
All registrants may now purchase registration insurance at time of checkout on RunSignUp.com. These insurance policies are through Allianz Global and protects 100% of your race entry (plus fees and more!) should you not be able to attend a race for qualifying reasons.
For those who decide not to purchase the above mentioned insurance: HPRS now allows a 100% race registration deferral up to 91 days from the start day/time of the race registered for. We have adjusted our credit policy to now welcome a 50% credit of your registration 30-90 days out from the start/day time of the race registered for. HPRS will not allow credits (in full or partial) or deferrals less than 30 days from the start/day time of the race registered for. Bib transfers to another runner are no longer allowed. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, as you are encouraged to purchase the insurance policy if a potential refund is important to you.
