HPRS DETAILS REGFEST 2025

The Human Potential Running Series (HPRS) is gearing up for its 9th Annual RegFest Event, scheduled for Sunday, December 7th, 2025, from 5 to 10 p.m. Mountain Time. This yearly event is HPRS’s biggest night of the year, as we extend our biggest savings to runners looking to register for any of our calendar events.

HPRS is committed to hosting a series that focuses on inclusion and accessibility. All of our races are priced at or below the industry average for similar distances. The RegFest event affords us an opportunity to offer race registrations at rates considerably lower than the industry average in our effort to make the sport accessible to runners regardless of their socio-economic status.

HPRS owner and race director John Lacroix recorded a RegFest preview show and it is accessible below! The show discusses how RegFest works, the 2026 HPRS Calendar of events, as well as announcing our award nominees for 2025 HPRS Jim Butera Memorial Ultrarunners of the Year, 2025 HPRS Trail Runners of the Year, and our 2025 Logan Polfuss Memorial Volunteer(s) of the year.

  • When: Register on 12/7 between the hours of 5 and 10 pm Mountain Time
  • What: Save 20% off all HPRS race registrations, and/or 10% off items in the HPRS online store
  • How: use code RegFest2025 at check-out on RunSignUp.com, or in our Online Store!

Early Bird Pricing for select HPRS events lasts just seven (7) days. Registration for currently unopened events opens on December 1st, and the first price increase occurs at midnight on December 8th. The above discounts are off of early bird pricing, affording runners deep discounts on 2026 HPRS events.

HPRS will also host a 4-hour live show on the HPRS Facebook Page between 5 and 9 pm on Sunday, December 7th. The show is hosted by HPRS owner and race director John Lacroix, with special guest hosts Joe Von Bokern, Alli Salaman, and Matt Stoub, all seasoned HPRS community members. The show will feature a variety of segments designed to entertain and engage the HPRS community. We’ll also announce the winners of the 2025 HPRS Ultrarunners of the Year, HPRS Trail Runners of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year awards.

We will host a live interactive trivia game at 7 pm, the winner of which will be awarded with a free lifetime of race entries with HPRS. As runners register for events during the 4-hour window, they will automatically be entered to win any of over 50 prize giveaways courtesy of HPRS and a collection of partners.

DEFERRAL AND CREDIT POLICIES

Our policies provide runners with greater peace of mind regarding their registration dollars. We recognize that it may be difficult for some to register for races so far in advance when much in our world remains uncertain. In 2023, we adjusted our refund, credit, and deferral policies to be more registrant-friendly and allow you to adjust your schedule down the trail as needed while also respecting our need to preserve the future of our business.

Here is a snapshot of those policies:
All registrants may purchase registration insurance at the time of checkout on RunSignUp.com. These insurance policies are through RegShield (A FanShield Product) and protect 100% of your race entry (plus fees and more!) should you not be able to attend a race for qualifying reasons.

For those who decide not to purchase the above-mentioned insurance: HPRS allows a 100% race registration deferral up to 91 days from the start day/time of the race registered for. Our credit policy welcomes a 50% credit of your registration 21-90 days out from the start/day time of the race registered for. HPRS will not allow credits (in full or partial) or deferrals less than 21 days from the start/day time of the race registered for. Bib transfers to another runner are no longer allowed. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, as you are encouraged to purchase the insurance policy if a potential refund is important to you. To view all of our policies and the fine print, please click HERE.

Below are the HPRS races you can register for during our RegFest event. We’ve included the race name, date, and location. The tables show the registration price for each distance before RegFest, the 20% off RegFest price, and the price at midnight on December 8th, respectively.

Not seeing a race you wanted to run?
The Winter’s End Snowshoe Races has been withdrawn from our calendar.
The Bingo! Trail Party is now owned and operated by May Farms in Byers.

Not seeing a distance you wanted to run?
Due to challenges with securing enough volunteers to support distances with an overnight component, those distances have been terminated and replaced with something else. Those include: The Franklin Mountains Trail Runs 50-Mile, Stories 30-Hour, and the Endure 24-Hour. The Summits Trail Runs was also heavily edited.
